GET MORE MONEY FROM EACH PLAYER
Before:
- Allow all players to purchase unlimited
mulligans for $5 to $10 each
- Have a putting contest and each contestant pays $X to participate winner
gets half the pot charity gets the other half
- Allow players to buy inches of string at $X per 5 inches. They use this during
a putt to get them closer to the hole.
- Sell tickets for a drawing and have the item donated.
During:
- Ask our pro to sit at a tee box. Allow the players to pay him to hit their
first shot. The money goes to your charity
- Set up a small pool next to a tee box. Under the belly of each rubber duck put
a number. Allow the players to pay to pick a duck. Then the player
gets the score on the belly of the duck. (Other themes will work with this same
concept). Allow people to purchase as many ducks as they
would like.
After:
- Get donations and have a silent auction while teams are coming in from the
tournament and waiting on the scores
- Set up a pool where people can bet on who will be the winner and at what
score.

GET MONEY FROM SPONSORS
Sponsorship
Opportunities:
Hole sponsors with 18 holes there is plenty of room for hole
sponsors. At Cimarron Trails we have the sign holders already ready to go. You
just give us the names!
Food sponsor Ask someone to sponsor the meal. This way you can charge
more per player for the meal but your charity reaps the benefits. Cimarron
Trails will gladly hang a sign or place marketing materials in our upstairs
banquet facility.
Hole-in-one sponsor A local car dealer may want to put up a car or a travel agency may be willing to contribute a trip should someone make a hole in one. At Cimarron Trails, hole 10 is usually the hole-in-one opportunity, which yields excellent visibility since it is right next to the clubhouse.
Drink ticket sponsor drinks can be passed out by the sponsoring companys spokesperson. Drink tickets are a big hit! If you want to have a beverage sponsor that is allowed too, but at Cimarron Trails there is a fee for bringing in your own drinks.
Beverage cart sponsor Our beverage cart is out during all tournaments and at Cimarron Trails, we will gladly add signage to the cart as it runs for your tournament.
Putting contest sponsor Ask someone to sponsor your Putting Contest. This way every time the contest is discussed and announced over the intercom it will include the name of the company. "The X Company Putting Contest will begin in 5 min." or "the winner of the X Company Putting Contest is " Sponsorship signage can also be placed next to our putting green.
Range sponsor At The Golf Club at Cimarron Trails all tournaments have the option of adding range balls to the package. A company may want to sponsor this addition and signage can be added to the range and discussed over the intercom "Special thanks to the X Company for our range balls!"
Scoreboard sponsor At the end of every tournament all players crowd
around the outside scoreboard to eagerly await the winning score. It is a great
place for a company to display its sponsorship for your tournament.
Golf Cart sponsor
All the golf carts at Cimarron Trails have a holder in the windshield area.
The outward facing side will have the name of the players riding in the carts
and their starting hole. The other side, which will face the driver and rider,
gives wonderful opportunity for a sponsor to get their message out.
